"We love Smack dog food but the regular Smack is so inconsistent re: size (even for our one hundred pound dog). We end up spending ages (hours) breaking the longer pieces up to suit our large dog and have to spend longer breaking into smaller pieces for our 16 pounder. Thought I’d try this as although I could see by pick looked more pourable or shredded, I guess I was hoping there might be smaller bits to chew in there. This is a great topper but at least for us, it’s too flaky in texture for both our girls. I do wish Smack could make the regular food is more consistent pieces size wise (they look like they have cut lines but fidnt break). Hmmm. Quality as always, this product is full of good nutrition but in my opinion really works only as a topper for maybe fussy eaters or to add some nutrition to a dogs food who perhaps isn’t getting top of the line food."
